Admission to Education Program - Freshmen

Effective for students entering Spring 2013 and after

Unconditional Full Freshman Acceptance

To receive full (unconditional) acceptance to Robert Morris University's education programs, a new freshman student must meet one of the following sets of academic criteria:

Combined SAT (Verbal and Math) Minimum ACT Minimum High School QPA Minimum
1000 22 3.0
950-990 20 3.25
900-940 19 3.5

All education majors must apply for formal admission to candidate status in an education program following the completion of 48 credits of college-level work. There are specific grade point average, course specifications, and other requirements that must be met at that time. Admission to an education major as a freshman or transfer student with less than 48 credits is not a guarantee of formal admission to candidate status in an education program. Students must continue to meet all requirements in order to continue in any education program at Robert Morris University.
