Admission to Education Program - Transfer Students

Effective for both internal and external transfer students entering January 1, 2013 and after.

Transfer Students

To receive acceptance to Robert Morris University as an education major, a transfer student (both internal and external) must meet the following sets of academic criteria:

All RMU education majors must apply for formal admission to candidate status in an education program following the completion of 48 credits of college-level work. There are specific grade point average, course specifications, and other requirements that must be met at that time.  Click here to see the Teacher Education Progress Process form.  Admission to an RMU education major as a freshman or transfer student is not a guarantee of formal admission to candidate status in an education program. Students must continue to meet all requirements in order to continue in any education program at Robert Morris University.
